Special needs

Parents of children with special needs often live under a cloud of continuous concern that their children’s needs are not being met in school. This often causes a lot of friction between the school, the district and the parents. As a result, the New York State Dispute Resolution Association (NYSDRA) has provided special education mediation for parents and school districts throughout New York State.

Parents who are not comfortable with the delivery of the special education programs and services their children need can use the mediation process to resolve these disputes. The process is voluntary and confidential and is facilitated by a qualified and impartial mediator.

Here at Simple Solutions Divorce Mediation, we can help you resolve these special needs disputes through an integrated and frictionless process.
